The tripartite meeting between the military leaders of Syria, Iraq and Iran, was not only the first of its kind, but it came at a time to be full of lot of political and military messages, while the content of the issues discussed in the meeting was the most important point in regional and international reading.
We are not interested in reviewing many of the points raised in the research, despite their importance and role in shaping the features of the next stage, but in the scenes of the meeting and its announced positions, which largely reflected the extent of the existing coordination and prospects opened in the foreseeable on the basis of that the next will be more profound, and more capable to draw the military and political rhythm.
It is agreed in the series of parallel and accompanying readings that the events and developments have reached a sharp turning point, in which the field approaches and their political reflection constitute the main part of the rules of engagement drawn up by the tripartite meeting on a clear and frank ground that cannot be interpreted since its indications are clear and explicit in their details as their titles.
The most importantly is to note that the coordination, which was existed and hadn't stop, takes a new form of openness which is in itself a decisive point in the regional scene. It draws the new equations required by the special nature of the stage, based on a real understanding of the needs of the stage and the specialty of the difficulties faced the region on the rhythm of messages of the meeting set at this high level.
On the other hand, the additions by answering many of the delayed questions in the military leaders' conversation completed the preconceptions of the meeting and greatly enhanced the general trends reflecting the political will of the three countries, besides the magnitude of the common challenge in the face of Takfiri terrorism, and the technique to put the practical limits for subsequent steps.
What the meeting showed is only a tiny part of what it wanted to express by its direct and immediate messages, so that the coming days can show what it has achieved concerning understanding and agreement of the nature of the next steps and the mechanisms of dealing with the developments, since we are going to touch its direct harbingers in the approaches that won't be limited to the military dimension, but it will necessarily, take its political context within the system of work, having been referred to while assisting on their content.
The Millstone here is that we are in front of steps and field changes, which don't relate to the open confrontation for at least eight years, but extends to frame the steps required by practical elements, to be the starting point for the coming one, where the challenge is not limited to terrorism; but it includes the operators, sponsors and protectors inside and outside the region, in a format having its tools, requirements and approach, which differ in form and content.
The next turn is not only imposed by military necessity despite the role it plays, but also by the raging confrontation in which there are multifaceted military, economic, media and diplomatic aspects of war, which imposes the imperative of parallel development in technical and logistical coordination, up to the identification on the fronts of planning and implementation to reach the integration on the basis of the open front on the ground and in politics, especially after all brutalities done by the aggression system on all fronts.
